GeoTools V 9.16 Update:

New commands added:

GT_TXT2ATTDEF (Text Tools - Convert text objects to attribute definitions): This command is used to convert text objects into attribute definitions. One of the places where this command can be useful in when you want to have text objects in blocks which might need to be mirrored. AutoCAD mirrors all text objects with blocks making them unreadable irrespective of the MIRRTEXT system variable setting. A solution to this is to create constant attribute definitions instead of text objects. Such ATTDEF objects within blocks respond to MIRRTEXT settings and you can prevent mirroring of text in blocks.

GT_ATTDEF2TXT (Text Tools - Convert attribute definitions to text objects): This command converts text objects from attribute defintions.

Enhanced command:

GT_CONTLABEL (Polyline Tool Set 1 - Label contour polylines): A new labeling option has been added in this command. You can now label the contour polylines at each of the two ends. The label string is placed in the direction determined by the slope of the segment next to the label.
