** Enhanced commands:

GT_DELDUP (Drawing Cleanup Tools - Delete duplicate objects): The GT_DELDUP command has been enhanced. You now have the option to ignore the Z values while checking for duplicate objects. Checking this option on allows you to identify as duplicates, points which lie on each other but with different elevation(z) values. This is a common situation in various survey and photogrammetry data and this this option allows you to identify such cases. By the same token, you can also identify as duplicates polylines, lines and blocks which have same XY but with different Z values.

GT_CALCAREA (Inquiry Tools - Calculate summed areas of closed polylines): The GT_CALCAREA command has been significantly enhanced. You can now have more control over the area units and its annotation by correctly specifying the drawing units (for length) and the desired area annotation units. There is a choice of the most popularly used units - cm, ft, m and yards for drawing units and 'dwg', 'acres' and 'hectares' as the drawing units. If 'dwg' is chosen as the area units, the area is represented as sq.cm, sq.m, sq.ft or sq.yds depedning on the drawing unit for length measurement.

Important note: While all of GeoTools commands are tested quite extensively before they are released, it is humanly impossible to test-run it under every different data type or operating environment. In the event that you notice any GeoTools command not functioning as expected, please bring it to our notice as soon as possible. We will attend to it and fix the problem as soon as possible.
