GeoTools V 6.17 update:
Pick up this latest update from
http://www.4d-technologies.com/geotools/download/geotools.exe
New command added: GT_NODATA ( Extended Entity Tools &
AutoCAD Map Tools - Check for No Xdata / Object Data ) :
The GT_NODATA command is used to identify objects in the
drawing that DO NOT have object data or extended entity
data. You can select whether to look for extended entity
data belong to a specific application or object table data
belonging to a specific table. The command will then scan
all selected objects and report a selection of objects
which DO NOT contain the specified data. This selection
will be placed in the current [active] selection.
New command added: GT_CURVETEXT (Text/Annotation Tools -
Curved Text - Create text along a curve): The GT_CURVETEXT
command is one of the most common requirements of map
presentation - to be able to write text strings along a
curve. This is now possible in GeoTools using the
GT_CURVETEXT command. The complete text layout and size,
offsets, spacing etc. can be controlled using a fully
customizable dialog box.
New command added: GT_CONTOUROFFSET (Polyline / Build
Tools - Create mathemtical offsets between two contour
polylines): The GT_CONTOUROFFSET command can be used to
create an offset polyline in between two given polylines.
This command is most likely to be useful in offsetting two
contour polylines and creating an intermediate offset
contour polyline.
This command will ask the user for two polylines
representing two contours and will create an intermediate
"offset" polyline at the correct interpolated
elevation between the two polylines. The aim of this
command is also to create the offset polyline in such a
manner that it represents the best horizontal position
interpolation between the two polylines.
This command has some known limitations and may not
produce accurate results on all types of polyline. Please
read the user manual for more information.

Important note: While all of GeoTools commands are tested
quite extensively before they are released, it is humanely
impossible to test-run it under every different data type
or operating environment. In the event that you notice any
GeoTools command not functioning as expected, please bring
it to our notice asap. We will attend to it and fix the
problem as soon as possible.

Thank you for your continued support. As always, we
welcome feedback at all times.
