This is the first official release of GeoTools. Developed as a Visual Lisp application, GeoTools supports AutoCAD
Release 14 and AutoCAD Map Releases 2 and 3.

Version 1.2 - October 19, 1999
Enhanced version of GeoTools is now fully compatible with AutoCAD 2000. This version makes its debut on on-line software retail sites and is now available for on-line purchase.
The 'Text Filter' command was added to GeoTools.
Various defects in GeoTools commands were resolved and performance enhanced.
Version 1.21 - November 8, 1999
Minor revision which fixes small defects and ensures consistent program behavior. New options added to the CH3D2D command.
Version 1.22 - November 29, 1999
Minor revision which fixes various defects to ensure a smoother program operation. A new command to round off numeric text TXTROUND was added.
Version 1.23 - January 19, 2000
The following new commands were added - EASY3DPOLY, EASY3DFACE, 3DF2PFACE, OD2XD and XFER_OD. Object selection filter dialog box improved. It is now possible to created complex selections by merging with previous selections. ESELECT command was completed.

VXDROP (Polyline Tools), OBJALIGN (Misc. Tools), DRAWGRADE (Misc. Tools),
FIXCLOSED (Polyline Tools) and 3DFFILTER (Selection Tools) commands added. VXLABEL and IDXYZ commands
enhanced. Minor bug fixes at several places. Program operation and
stability further strengthened.
Version 1.31 - June 12, 2000
EXTXYZ command replaced with a more comprehensive export/import processor
- IMPEX. TC command upgraded to handle automatic creation of block
attributes. Some defects in international AutoCAD language support
resolved. GeoTools e-Newsletter is launched. Powerful part polyline
editing commands like PARTOFFSET, PARTMOVE, PARTSTRETCH and
PARTROTATE were added. GeoTools single user retail price dropped to US$
99.
Version 1.32 - June 26, 2000
Minor defects in the DISTANGWEED command have been fixed. The SEGLABEL
command was enhanced and the PARTMIRROR command was added.

Version 2.0 of GeoTools adds new features like TXT2OD, OD_LIST, OD_SEARCH
etc. Version 2.0 is the first release out of our new development center in
Bangalore, India.

Version 2.01 of GeoTools adds new AutoCAD Map Tools like REM_DUP_RECS,
MERGETBL etc. Some other minor enhancements and bug fixes done.
Version 2.02 - March 31, 2001
FIXUCS command added to bring back objects in non-parallel UCS to the WCS.
CHOP command re-written and defects fixed.
Version 2.03 - April 5, 2001
MERGETBL command fully implemented. Defects fixed. Additional options

bearing annotation functions.

The GT_INOUTOFFSET command to quickly offset INwards or OUTwards a set of
closed polylines was added in this revision.
Version 2.05 - April 22, 2001
The DEFATTOD and COPYODTABDEF commands were added under the AutoCAD Map
manu to make manging object tables and block attributes easier.
Version 2.06 - April 29, 2001
Three commands from the dis-continued LineWorks Civil product added to
GeoTools. They are GT_CHAINAGE for chainage annotation, GT_PROFILE for 3d
polyline profiling and GT_DRAWGRADE for drawing graded polylines.
Version 2.07 - May 9, 2001
The REN_OD_FLDS command was added in this version. REN_OD_FLDS is used to
rename object data fields. A number of other bugs in the Release 14
version of AutoCAD Map commands in the previous version were fixed in this
update.
Version 2.08 - May 16, 2001
The OD_EDIT command was added in this version to enable global editing of
object data. The AD_PFSF and TTRIM commands were dis-continued and their
functionality has been added into the MODTXT command.

The CHAINAGE command has been enhanced to enable using chainage
descriptions. The VEGLINE command was added to draw annotation of
vegetation symbol. PL_STAT command enhanced. Version

GeoTools Version 4 is released. This release represents the fourth
numbered upgrade of the GeoTools program and comes nearl;y 13 months after
GeoTools V3. GeoTools is now AutoCAD 2004 compatible. Release 14 support
is dropped from GeoTools V4 onwards.
