What' new in CADPower V13
( Includes all changes since the last update of CADPower V12 [i.e. 12.25] )

CADPower V13 is the first version of CADPower to be compatible with AutoCAD 2013.

 

New commands added in CADPower V13

CP_VISIBLE : CADPower -> Miscellaneous -> CAD Procedures -> Change object visibility

CP_FINDENCLOSED : CADPower -> Selection -> Find points enclosed within 3dface space

CP_EASYEED : CADPower Extended Entity Data Edit XDATA in a dialog box

CP_POLYGETZ : CADPower Polyline Tool Others Acquire Neghboring polyline elevations

CP_FILEMAN : CADPower Miscellaneous -> File Management -> File Manager 

CP_ATTRERODER : CADPower Blocks -> Attribute - related -> Re-order attributes in block

CP_SteelWorks : CADPower Mechanical -> Attribute - related -> Indian Steel Sections

CP_X-Hardware2Component : CADPower Mechanical -> Attribute - related -> X-Hardware->Component

CP_X-Hardware_BOM : CADPower Mechanical -> Attribute - related -> X-Hardware BOM

 

 

Commands Enhanced or changed

CP_MREDEFINE : CADPower Blocks  Block - related Multiple Redefine Blocks - Lyr/Clrs: -> New selection options have been provided for the layer and color properties. They may be selected from dialog boxes now.


 Fixes in evaluation version: When CADPower and GeoTools are loaded together, either software would not load if the other one was in evaluation mode and if its evaluation period had expired. This has been fixed now. You can now load the two software together or at different times for evaluation and test them independently without running the risk of blocking one or the other.

CP_EXPLODE2LAYER : CADPower Blocks  Block - related Explode blocks to a specified layer:-> There was a regression bug in this command which has now been fixed.

CP_XP_ATT : CADPower -> Block Tools -> Block-related -> Explode blocks-retain attributes as text:-> There was a regression bug in this command which caused incorrect selection of blocks when manual selection was used. This has now been fixed. In BricsCAD, the CP_XP_ATT command is also available as the BURST command.

CP_TXT2ATTDEF: CADPower -> Text -> Convert text strings to attribute definitions: This command was visible in the menu but not working. It has been fixed now.


CP_SRCHBLK4TXT : CADPower -> Blocks -> Search Blocks for text strings:  This command was visible in the menu but not working. It has been fixed now.

CP_APPLOAD : CADPower -> More Options -> Load applications: This command was missing in the BricsCAD version of CADPower since the GeoTools split. It has now been introduced

 

CP_WORKSPACE : CADPower -> More Options -> Workspace Setup: This command was not working correctly. It has been fixed now. Available only in the AutoCAD version of CADPower (2008+ versions). This command has been removed from the BricsCAD version as it did not belong there.
